50th-90th Anniversary Album Update

Our committee is hard at work collecting information for our Anniversary Album that many of you have seen advertised.  While COVID put a long delay on this project, we are happy to announce that we are resuming this project and hope to have it completed in the near future. 

For those that have turned in their information for their advertisements over the last several months, please note that your information has been collected and all monies are being held in a separate church account noted for the anniversary.

If you have not submitted an advertisement and wish to do so, please do as soon as possible by visiting the Album section of our church website (wsgoc.org).  It is important for all who desire to have a part in this historical endeavor by our parish.  Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Stacey Karagiorgis at (336) 575-6904.

50th-90th Anniversary Historical Committee Update

As many of you may know, the Historical Committee is hard at work preparing a written history of the Annunciation Parish.  We have made good progress in collecting written and oral history through the 1970's.  In the coming months, we would like to schedule a series of meetings (in 10 year increments) to capture the milestones and photos of events in our parish from the 1980's to date.  As we prepare for these meetings, it would be helpful to each of us if you could bring to the meetings any notes of community activities that you think are important and relevant to our church history.  We would also welcome any photos that might document these activities.  If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to Rita Georgoulias, Helen Bambalis, or Stavros (Stephen) Karagiorgis.  We thank you in advance for your help!
